Alonzo Taylor

 MINISTER   MUSICIAN   EDUCATOR   CHORAL DIRECTOR

Alonzo Taylor is a highly accomplished professional with expertise in education, ministry, and choral music. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education with a concentration in vocal performance from Morris Brown College, a Master of Teaching from Grand Canyon University, a Masters in Biblical Counseling, and Master of Divinity from Luther Rice Seminary. Currently, he is pursuing his doctoral degree at Liberty University.

 

Throughout his career, Mr. Taylor has served several churches in the Metro Atlanta Area, including All Good Road United Methodist Church, Peace Lutheran Church, and Riverdale Methodist Church, among others. He also held various positions such as Minister of Music at St. Mark Lutheran Church, Director of the Cathedral Choir at Central United Methodist Church, and Director of the Team Lutheran Singers. Currently, he serves as the Director of the Morris Brown College Alumni Choir and the Morris Brown College Choir and Music Specialist in Atlanta Public Schools. Alonzo strongly believes that singing with others enhances the possibilities of empathetic relationships amongst people from different backgrounds and strengthens the community.
